HR & Compliance Coordinator

Position Overview
The HR & Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring Holt & Worthy Federal Services meets all federal, state, and agency-specific requirements for staffing and workforce management. This position supports onboarding, HR administration, personnel file maintenance, and compliance reporting for our federal, state, and local government clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees and contractors.

Ensure full compliance with I-9 verification, E-Verify, background checks, and other security screenings.

Maintain accurate personnel files and documentation in accordance with federal staffing regulations.

Track certifications, clearances, and training renewals for active employees.

Assist with employee relations, policy updates, and benefits administration.

Prepare compliance-related reports and respond to agency HR inquiries.

Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Contracts, and Program Management to ensure complete and timely onboarding.

Support audits, internal reviews, and policy implementation.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive personnel information at all times.
Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

1–3 years of HR, compliance, or administrative experience — preferably in government contracting or staffing.

Strong knowledge of:

Background checks (NACI, Tier 1, Public Trust)

HR policies and employment law basics

Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier talent for federal, state, and commercial staffing contracts. This position ensures a smooth, efficient, and compliant hiring process while supporting Holt & Worthy’s mission to hire the most qualified professionals in the country. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with HR, Project Managers, and leadership to fulfill urgent staffing needs and support long-term workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities

Source qualified candidates through job boards, social platforms, databases, and professional networks.

Screen applicants for experience, qualifications, certifications, and clearance requirements.

Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate hiring manager interviews.

Manage job postings across multiple platforms and keep applicant pipelines organized.

Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Communicate with candidates throughout each step of the hiring process.

Support hiring for cleared (Secret/Top Secret) and non-cleared roles.

Track recruitment metrics and provide weekly hiring updates to leadership.

Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal hiring guidelines.

Collaborate on job fairs, veteran hiring initiatives, and outreach events.
Required Qualifications

2–4 years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience.
